1930s Peugeot Child’s Bicycle

My Parisian friend Patrick restored this 1930s Peugeot in 2009 as a
present for my daughter Delphy. She’s still not big enough to ride it.

It’s a very pretty machine, a miniature version of an adult Peugeot of the era.

The aesthetic quality of a machine is embodied by the simplicity of its design. Pre-war children’s bicycles were often stripped of the extras needed for selling adult bikes.
